The guy is crying on the sideline, but guys that I know will claim he was heartless and could care less about the game. What a joke. People need to quit pretending like they are Monday Morning doctors and get over it. The guy’s injury was significant. Most orthopedic doctors interviewed are saying that you risk a complete tear of the MCL and possibly of the ACL by playing with a weakened or torn MCL due to the shift in stress caused by the instability in the knee. That list includes Tom Brady’s orthopedic surgeon for his knee injury and the head surgeon for the US Olympic Ski Team; both have seen some significant knee injuries over his career. Furthermore, it is not recommended for diabetics to take cortisone shots, so Deion Sanders rants about getting the needle don’t seem to apply here. Cortisone skyrockets blood sugar levels in a diabetic and can actually cause the individual to die in a coma. Oops, Prime.
