Well…after another losing weekend, I’ve stopped looking at the numbers and am going a little more with my gut rather than playing the numbers and balancing act…

Let’s button it down and go after it on Saturday.

Oklahoma St -5 and Stanford -7 Parlay @ 100

Both are road favorites on Halloween weekend and while I rarely bet against the Home dog, these two teams are strong. Stanford is traveling up to Washington who has a suspect defense and were dismantled against Nebraska. The Huskies are playing better, but Stanford is a real good team who is going through a rough patch. Oklahoma State is traveling to Manhattan who puts up a good fight, but their offense struggles to pass the ball and if OK State is able to open up the field, they could force K State to do something they aren’t comfortable with. OK State is without their top WR for a DUI suspension which makes me a little itchy, but I’m expecting someone to step up in that pass happy offense, as they have shown over the past five years, the wr’s in that offense will get chances to make plays. OK, we are treading water this week… had our first losing weekend and followed it up with a stupid baseball bet… now it’s time to dial it up and see what shakes loose…

Boston College @ Florida State (-22 / 45.5)… Boston college has next to no offense, Uncle Dave is back at QB for the Eagles, but that isn’t going to change their terrible offensive line and running game. Memo to draft experts, someone show me where/why/how Costanzo is a first round pick. He will have his hands full with a fast and aggressive front seven for the Noles who I think will have a big day. I’m expecting a thirty point win by the ‘Noles as they make this a statement game.
Teaser: FSU -16 / Over 39.5 @ 200 (more…)

Well… Life as we know it is about to change. I had my first losing weekend and while we are still over $1,200 positive for the season (a 25% return in 6 weeks) someone decided to take their loses out on my face. He probably didn’t have the stomach to chase the over in last night’s game, and he probably gave up with only 9 points scored in the first half… But I never felt better about a game all weekend than I did about last night’s over, I just wish I had more ammo to throw at it… (more…)

Well boys we are in the midst of a heater…and what’s the first rule about a heater…never leave the table when  you are on a heater…however, you should learn to play smart. So I’m going to shrink my risk and play more parlays this weekend in an attempt to hit a few big wins instead of trying to fight the .550 profit margin level… So with all that being said, take a read on my weekend predictions and steam (more…)

OK… It’s time to dust off the computer and get some work done here… We made a late comeback last week going three for three in the Oregon State game hitting the point spread and the over/under and a parlay on both of them as well… Gamblers will refer to that as hitting the horn. Our only Sunday play was sent into Heals on Sunday morning with the Bengals only laying 3 points to a rookie quarterback making his debut… CHA-CHING for a even thousand on that one and we finished the week up $870… (more…)

OK… So let me point this out…Sometimes I do some stupid stuff when I win and I’m dangerously close to pushing the envelope here… But I need one more solid weekend and then all hell could break loose.

Here we go for week 4

Bank: $6,610 (+1,610)… (more…)
